Speaking at the Jomo Kenyatta show grounds Mishi said “Women, this is the strategy you should adopt. It is the best. Deny them sex until they show you their voter's card.” as SDE reported.
Earlier on, Mishi was the talk of the town after President Uhuru’s bodyguards blocked her and allegedly roughed her up as she tried accessing a meeting discussing the Standard Gauge Railway in Changamwe, Mombasa on Saturday, March 26 2016.
But despite being one of the most vocal Women Reps out here, Mishi is not all about politics and she put her political side behind her and gave the daughter center stage on her big day.

Her gorgeous daughter Hafidha wedded one Mr.Tariq in a flamboyant Swahili wedding. The blushing bride was adorned in henna, extravagant jewelry and an orange dress that matched her make-up.
Those who attended the grand ceremony include Governor Joho who sent out this congratulatory message for the new couple: I congratulate Hon. Mishi Mboko and her family on the wedding of her daughter Hafidha to Mr. Tariq. I wish the newlyweds a very happy and fruitful marriage as they start a new chapter in life.
