Following this announcement Kenyans have come out in droves to show him support on social media.

You will always be my HERO sir.” Timothy Indeche wrote while another Facebook user Syox Alathso said “Will support you in my little way, pray you win..now you have complicate mahesabu ya bro WA Joho,edu etc.hahaha I wish ningechange from Mvita.”
Omondi Richard also expressed his excitement at the thought of Moha and Boniface Mwangi joining parliament.
“Moha bila kupingwa...I cant wait to have boniface mwangi and moha in the same parliament.” He wrote.
Others on the other hand did not like the idea of Moha asking for monetary help with Paul Mae writing “Moha I will vote for you but hii story ya pay bill utajisort. In politics you must have float this is Kenya not America. Or maybe if you can get from the big boys then do so.” With Jacob Muteti seconding him with “Kama wewe ni mtu wa kuombaomba campaign funds through Paybill number forget ODM nominations....! The highest bidder always gets the Nomination certificate.”
