Moses Kuria tickles Mariga after losing Kibra by-election

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has tickled Kibra MP Aspirant McDonald Mariga, after losing to Bernard Imran Okoth.

In his congratulatory tweet to Imran, Kuria consoled Mariga saying that there was still hope for the former Kenyan international footballer, in the pitch.

Congratulations @ImranOkothfor outright victory for you, my friend Ken Okoth and the people of Kibra. Pole sana @MarigaOfficial there is still hope on Sunday during the #MashemejiDerby,” read Kuria’s tweet.

His words came shortly after Mariga conceded defeat assuring Imran his support to make Kibra a better place.

Imran garnered 24,636 votes, while Jubilee Party’s McDonald Mariga came in second with 11,230 votes.

Moses Kuria’s tweet was however, met with an array of mixed reactions, some saying that Mariga had proven a point despite losing. Others supported Kuria’s sentiments.
