Most Dramatic scenes in Events 2018
Some were too indecent!
However, as the year rolls and people get used to it, a fair share of drama comes in between, which according to me only makes the year more interesting.
In 2018, several dramatic scenes involving artistes took place in events which became talk of the town.
Timmy, who performed at the Mr Eazi Concert at Ngong Racecourse, went ratchet with ladies that got up on stage to dance with him. The Kasabuni singer shocked revellers when he pulled up a lady’s dress on stage while she danced and seemed unbothered about what many considered an indecent act.
After a public uproar on his conduct, the Kaka Empire signee took responsibility for his conduct and apologized profusely to the unlucky girl, his fans and for not setting a good example.
Aslay falling from the stage
Tanzanian Singer Aslay fell off the stage while performing at an event in Kisumu that had been organized by a local radio Station.
In a video that went viral, Aslay fell after the stage he was performing on sank in, causing him to slip up hitting his body parts of the metals that had been used to mount the stage.
He got rescued by stewards who provided security at the event, picked and took him backstage to check if he was okay before he resumed and continued with his performance
Octopizzo giving fans weed
Octopizzo this year took things a little higher after he pulled out a roll of weed and asked his fans whether he could light it up and of course, guys were like ‘Yes’ because who doesn’t like a good show? He, however, did not light up the blunt but gave it to his fans and one of the recipients rated it as some good kush, an 8 out of 10. This was during his performance at the TRG Fest.
DJ Crème Dela Crème
DJ Crème In a video he shared on his Instagram page from a club’s CCTV footage, narrated how Kilifi OCS whom he identified as Mr Konchole attacked him and also took away his laptop.
He said that the OCS jumped to the booth at around 4 am claiming that they were making noise and that is when he choked him and rained slaps on the DJ.
Harmonize failing to perform in Eldoret
There was chaos that left many revellers seriously injured after Tanzanian music sensation Harmonize failed to show up for a performance at the Eldoret Sports Club.
Angry fans who had waited for hours to see Harmonize resorted to destroying things after it was clear that the singer was not coming for the show.
According to the singer who spoke a day after, he could not perform because the promoter had not paid as they had agreed in the contract.
