The member of Godlyfe crew’s death was reported dead on Thursday 1 February 2018.
According to David Washington, a popular music producer based in Kampala, Radio emptied half a bottle of Johnnie Walker Red Label whisky on a table. This action angered the ‘De Bar’ club manager who was in attendance then.
Washington disclosed that Radio met five people who he (Washington) had not seen before. The five included; Club manager George Egesa, Wamala, Hassan Lukwago and one Pamela.
“I started seeing Mowzey’s friends laughing at him. Mowzey got angry and poured alcohol on the manager, Egesa. Suddenly Egesa got angry and smashed the bottle on the table and Mowzey and Egesa had to be separated,” revealed Washington.
Washington adds that Egesa called bouncers to take Radio out. It was then when Gofrey Wamala alias Troy, De Bar club bouncer, grabbed Mowzey and threw him down and Radio’s head hit the ground.
Producer Washington discloses that he rushed injured Radio to the hospital in an ambulance. Unfortunately he was turned away from two hospitals before they arrived at Case hospital.
Case Hospital pronounced Mowzey Radio dead.
"The management of Case Hospital regret to announce the passing of Moses Ssekibogo alias Moze Radio today 1st February 2018 at 6:00 am," read part of the statement issued by Case Hospital.
‘De Bar’ club manager and bouncer Troy are behind bars following this ill-fated incident.
May Mowzey Radio's soul rest in peace.
