Gospel singer Moses Tarus Omondi popularly known as Mr. Seed is mourning the death of his uncle.

In a post he shared on Instagram, Mr. Seed said that he had received the sad news that the uncle died of kidney failure.

He went on to ask his fans to remember his family in prayer during this trying moments.

“Av just received a sad news that my only uncle from my father’s side has passed on cause of kidney failure.. Kindly remember my family in your prayers.. It has been a tough season but GOD IS EVER FAITHFUL R.I.P UNCLE,” wrote the Gospel singer.

Leaving EMB

This comes barely two weeks after the singer announced his departure from the Bahati owned EMB Records.

Through his social media pages, Mr. Seed said he had decided to exit EMB with the purpose of going independent and give a chance to other upcoming artistes to benefit from the platform he was given at EMB Records.

The ‘Gwara Gwara’ singer added that he was also looking forward to nurture other upcoming artistes and share with them his spotlight with the aim of helping them grow.

However, it later on emerged that Mr. Seed and Bahati who have been friends for more than 17 years parted ways after Bahati called the police on his pregnant girlfriend Nimo Gachuiri on December 31, 2018.
