The changes were announced barely two weeks after the exit of NTV General Manager Linus Kaikai.

In a statement, Muraya Kariuki has been promoted to Head of TV News in NTV and will report to Pamela Asigi.
Watson Karuma and Sheila Sendeyo have also been promoted to the positions of News Editor and News Producer respectively.
"This team will lead the content generation and editing and presentation functions to ensure that our bulletins continue to resonate and improve to gain us the ratings NTV deserves. Join me on congratulating the three and please accord them the support they need to effectively execute their new roles," Mshindi stated.

Warothe Kiiru's new role will be that of Sports Editor on the converged desk reporting to Elias Makori.
The appointments will take effect immediately.
Kaikai quit the Nation Media Group on February 28 during a staff meeting.

The NTV boss had earlier communicated his address to his staff which had left many guessing on his impending exit.
Kaikai is rumoured to be headed to NTV's main rival Citizen TV owned by S.K Macharia.
