Cill - 'Baby girl'

Listen to this if you are all about connecting with the soul through Acoustic bass guitars as often heard in soft rock music

Singer, Cill, is an epitome of soul in her Johnny Drille produced song, 'Baby girl'.

The singer provided the perfect rendition that will no doubt lift the spirit even if one suffers the worst kind of depression.

In Cill, a fast rising songwriter and vocalist, Nigerian music might have found one of its revelation of the year 2017.

Together with the likes of Drille, Aramide, Clay, Nathmac, she joins the crop of new musical sensations that are leading the charge to popularise the Alternative rock and Folk music genre in Nigeria.

With 'Baby girl', Cill successfully fused Yoruba with an imperial tongue, English, to make one of the dopest tune to be released within Q1 and Q2 of this year.

The song is a reminiscence of what prominent vocalist and Indie Pop artiste, Asa, sounded like in her early days.

There is no doubt about whether Cill will be sharing some of the 'Asa juice' based on her catchy freestyle of 'Preacher man' , a 2010 hit song released by her mentor.

If you are all about connecting with the soul through Acoustic bass guitars as often heard in soft rock music, Cill, whose real name is Chioma Ogbonna, is who you wanna listen to.

Check her out on the new jam as she anticipates the return of a loved one. Hopefully, there will be more of this.
