Matatus fill the streets of Nairobi, with blaring music, admirable graffiti-style artwork and rowdiness as they weave through traffic. We may complain everyday about matatus, but we must give credit where it is due -matatu’s in Nairobi are pimped! The initiative is a twofold event: entailing a motor show, which showcases unique Kenyan Matatu culture while promoting road safety on Kenya roads, and an award ceremony that entails the public selected PSVs to be awarded.
