NTV hires new news anchors after mass exit (Full List)

These are the new faces of NTV.

After the talent hemorrhage NTV underwent this year thanks to Citizen TV, the Kimathi-based news house went out hunting.

And the catches are pretty impressive and are drawn from KBC, Capital FM, Ebru TV and even Citizen. Business Today reports that the new members of the news team are Doreen Gatwiri, Kaltum Juma, Nuru Abdulaziz and Salim Swaleh for the Swahili news.

Olive Burrows and Zainab Ali will be joining for English news with Dennis Okari who serves as an investigative reporter doubling up as a news anchor.

The new team will fill the gap left by Victoria Rubadiri, Kimani Mbugua, Pamela Asigi, Enock Sikolia, Jamila Mohamed who left NMG for Citizen TV. Larry Madowo also left the station for BBC while Linus Kaikai joined Citizen as the new Director of Strategy and Innovation and part of the news panel ‘News Gang’.
