The Nation Media Group (NMG) has been working silently in a bid to have its urban radio station Nation FM back in the game.

Revealing the news to her followers, Ms Rira shared a picture of herself and Dr. King’ori saying that they will bring best breakfast show to their fans.
“The radio revolution will be televised!! #CateandKingori will be giving you the best and hottest breakfast show in Ke!!! Make sure you tune your cars ma3 airplanes tuktuks nduthis to 96.3!!!” she wrote.
She however, did not give much details about their new job.
Cate Rira has been hosting NTV’s entertainment show Lit360 while Dr. King’ori has been hosting comedy show The Wicked Edition. The two will continue hosting their TV shows alongside their new radio roles.
Obinna and Anto Neosoul
This announcement comes just a few days after comedian Obinna and singer Anto Neosoul who formerly worked for the station announced that they will be making a comeback soon.
They went on to share posters of their yet to be launched show on Nation FM.
In 2016, NMG took many by surprise after it announced the closure of its Swahili TV station QTV, and radio stations QFM and Nation FM, a move that rendered several of their employees jobless. Obinna and Neosoul were part of the team that was let go of.
In 2018 however, Nation FM which remained playing music only brought in Fareed Khimani to host a morning music show at the station.
