Emerging reports indicate that NTV’s Swahili anchor Rashid Abdallah is set to join the SK Macharia owned media anytime soon.
A highly placed source at NTV confirmed to Pulselive.co.ke that Rashid would be joining his wife, Lulu Hassan at Citizen TV.
Pulse contacted the Swahili anchor but declined to divulge any details pertaining to his exit from NMG.
Enock Sikolia joins RMS
The news of Abdallah’s exit from the Twin Towers placed TV station comes days after award winning Journalist Enock Sikolia joined RMS.
Other Journalists who have shifted from NTV include Larry Madowo, who was appointed as the new Business Editor at BBC, Edmond Nyabola who joined CCTV, and Emanuel Juma who joined Red Cross TV, Ken Mureithi and Vincent Odour who were retrenched.
Changes RMS
Upon the arrivals of Linus Kaikai and Joe Ageyo at RMS, a few changes were made in its top management.
Kaikai was appointed as the new Director of Strategy and Innovation while Joe Ageyo was tasked to head the Editorial department as the Director.
Former NTV Anchor Jamila Mohammed was appointed as the Managing Editor for the Swahili Desk. Fred remains as the Director in charge of Radio and Technical services.
