One Onyi Jalamo whose track ‘Tibiim’ gained popularity for being largely used during the campaign period wants to release his song christened ‘RaiHuru Tibiim.’
President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga held a surprise meeting on Friday 9 March 2017 at Harambee house.
Their meeting came as a shocker since the two were arch-rivals owing to their political interests. They could not see each other eye to eye and the Harambee house meeting was their first face-to-face meeting since their fall out in the controversial August 8 polls.
Following their reconciliation, the political climate has changed and positive impact has been felt all over the country.
Onyi Jalamo has however raised concern on the effects the song may have on the Luo fan base. He took to social media to consult his tribes’ men on whether he should release the song. His post read;
"As a Luo I should have respect for Luo elders and the whole community. I therefore want to humbly ask my Luo people whether I should go ahead and release the new song praising chairman (Raila) and the president and his deputy or drop it?"
