Kenyan photographer selected judge at top international event
Macharia, who is the owner and photographer at K63 studio, will be the first Kenyan to be picked to judge at the prestigious event, as well as representing Kenya in the event that will take place from June 18 in Cannes, France.
“In the midst of such brilliant and creative minds judging at Cannes Lion 2018 will be this young Kenyan representing Kenya for the very first time. What an honor,” he said.
Macharia was selected along with nine others from across the world.
The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is formerly the International Advertising Festival, a global event for people working in the creative communications, advertising and other related fields.
Osborne Macharia has been flying high with his out of the box photography skills and he was the one that was tasked with the making of the exclusive artwork for the highly grossing movie ‘Black Panther’.
