President Uhuru Kenyatta through the Director of Permanent Presidential Music Commission (PPMC) Dr. Donald Otoyo has invited stakeholders in the Music Industry for a presidential Round-table meeting to discuss the future of the Kenyan music industry.

In a special invite seen by Pulselive.co.ke, the presidential Round-table will be held on Wednesday, January 30th, 2019 from 10:00am at the Kenya Film Center (Nairobi along Agakhan Walk).
The invite requires all invited groups, association and their members to provide a summarized memorandum on sector issues and statutory documents.
“This is to you the initial Presidential Round-Table on the creative Economy which will be held on Wednesday 30th January, 2019 from 10:00 am at the Kenya Film Center. All invited groups, association and their members are required to provide a summarized memorandum on sector issues and must also provide statutory documents. Copies of statutory documents should be emailed to email@example.com and hardcopies delivered upon registration in the venue” reads part
The presidential Round-table meeting comes days after Kenyatta ordered Big Ted organize a meeting, so that he can have a one on one with Kenyan musicians.

“Arrange and bring them to State House if that is what you want so that we can talk and discuss the future of the music industry in the country,” said President Kenyatta. “And if he doesn’t it’s his fault, not mine, si ni namna hiyo , tumekubaliana” added President Kenyatta.
