The self proclaimed "Godfather of Genge" has been appointed Chairman for Performers Rights Society of Kenya (PRISK).
Nonini took to Instagram to thank the PRISK board for the appointment saying he was up to the task for his new job.
"Really humbled being appointed Chairman for Performers Rights Society of Kenya and ready to serve for music industry to take us to greater heights but most of all thanks to my board for believing in me," Nonini said.

The Kenyan hip hop recording artist, entertainer, radio presenter, businessman and philanthropist joins other notable celebrities at the PRISK board who include Iddi (Beatrice Achieng), Nameless (David Mathenge), Irene Kariuki, Daddy Owen (Owen Mwatia), Ian Mbugua and SK Blue (Samuel Kuria) who are all directors.
PRISK is a collective management organization licensed by the Kenya Copyright Board to represent performers in musical and dramatic works that was formed under Gazette Notice No. 12322.
