Outrage after Prophet Owuor makes triumphant entry into Central Park (Video)

The V.I.P entrance has left tongues wagging.

The prophet had a grand entrance to Uhuru Park that included a heavily guarded convoy of fancy cars and some members of the police force who controlled the frenzied crowd.

An entrance that didn’t please Kenyans who thought that the majestic entrance was too pompous and ‘worldly’ for a man of God. Others wondered why he needed such tight security and yet he is a servant of God and not a politician.

“I have a problem with the security detail. Jesus did not have security when He used to preach Its only God Almighty who can protect us not convoys and guns” Omorai Lucas Misati wrote with Phybs Mbogholi adding “Tight security with armed recce squad & general service unit guarding him........what all this security for? A man of God fears death?!!!!!. If you are working for God you are already protected.”

Others felt that even Jesus did not need that kind of security.

“Jesus the only Son of God that I believe in never walked with this kind of security... I pray Christians open their eyes to these modern-day preachers. Very disappointing sight.” Brenda Abigael wrote.

Some Kenyans felt that a lifestyle audit should be conducted on the flamboyant preacher. One Abas Njuguna wrote “Lifestyle auditors should not forget to check the wealth of this guy and how he got this amount of cash... some miracles can only be possible either through conmanship or through acting.”

Following the outrage on social media, Atheists in Kenya President Harrison Mumia called for the arrest of the flamboyant preacher.

He accused him of conning Kenyans with his fake miracles and expressed disappointment that Kenyans prefer to trust in a con artist rather than head to a hospital.

“Fake Prophet Owuor ... He claims to heal the sick at a crusade yet he cannot walk to a hospital and heal the sick. The funnier thing is that some Kenyans prefer being healed by this con artist rather than walk to a hospital. Sad!” Harrison Tweeted.
