Her abstinence journey started after she split with her first husband and will come to a conclusion today (March 9, 2018) as she is now getting married.
Speaking to The Nairobian about her celibacy journey, the prophetess said “We are all humans and not holy. Though I have been tempted, I’ve never fallen and have never been involved with a man, besides the occasional date. I’ve been fasting a lot and avoiding certain foods.”

Monica has known her husband-to-be Samuel Kariuki for 3 years and they have been in a serious relationship for 6 months and Samuel has already paid the bride price.
“Six months was enough for us.” She said and their wedding today will be as simple as their relationship “This will be a simple one (The wedding), no best man or woman. It will not be a complicated affair.”
And after the wedding, the two will take a 10-day honeymoon where they will engage in a baby-making spree. “I want to have two more kids but he proposes three that is why we are going for a 10-day honeymoon...to make babies!”
