Rihanna’s comments about President Akufo-Addo will surely get Ghanaians talking

Rihanna impressed with Ghana's President Akufo-Addo speech at International Education Summit in Dakar, Senegal.

A Ghanaian fan, Papa Oppong could not help himself when he discovered that Ghana’s president, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo had had an encounter with BadGalRiri.

In a Twitter screenshot post captioned “When you stan Rihanna and your president (H.E Nana Akufo Addo)and they meet and you’re all up in your feelings,” Oppong shows a direct message he sent to Rihanna concerning her meetup with President Akufo-Addo.

The message read:

"Rihhhh you shook hands with my president. Which means you shook hands with Ghana. Which means you shook hands with me. Ok a bit of a stretch but this made me soooo happyyy!!!!"

A humbled Rihanna replied the Ghanaians message describing Nana Addo as inspiring and that all Ghanaians should be proud to have him as president.

“Your President was so well spoken and inspiring! He shook the room! You should be proud!”

Ghanaians are having the feels about Rihanna’s comments concerning their president.

Ghana’s president gave an inspiring speech at the recently held International Education Summit in Dakar, Senegal.

“We cannot depend on other people to finance the education on our continent. I am saying that not to turn my back or to be ungrateful to all these important or noble people who have committed themselves to helping, no. But, if we make our policy dependent on other people, when their policy changes, we will suffer. But, if we make the policy for ourselves, then it means that, at all times, we will be in control of our own destiny,” he stated.

At the summit, President Akufo-Addo called on other African presidents to set aside 20% of their own budget to improve education in their own countries.
