We struggled to have a baby – Raila Junior

Opposition Leader Raila Odinga’s son Raila Junior has for the first time spoken on one of the biggest challenge he has experienced in marriage.

Speaking in an interview with a local radio station, Junior disclosed that in his first years of marriage, he and his wife struggled to have a baby.

He went on to say that after about 5 years of struggling, they were finally blessed with a son.

“We’ve been married for a very longtime and our first years of marriage we couldn’t have a baby, we struggled for a very long time about 5 years but eventually Gob blessed us with a son and from there we are ever grateful,” said Raila Junior.

He further said that he will forever be grateful to his wife for being a strong and kind hearted woman.

“I thank God I’m married to a very kind hearted woman. Yvonne God bless her can withstand a lot of pressure, a lot of pain. She pushes me to do things and she takes all the pressure. She has stood with me and she helps me to be a better person,” he narrated.

Politics

In the interview, Raila Junior responded to the question of joining politics saying that he was fully concentrated on growing his businesses at the moment.

“Right now I’m concentrated on growing my businesses. I’m not really looking into politics at the moment but in future maybe,” said Raila Junior.
