Jalang'o's promise to Raila Odinga come 2022

Jalang’o had a dream to join the Siaya Gubernatorial race in 2022, but soon dropped the dream after realizing that it would be a pipe dream.

“I had a dream but I have lost the dream after soul searching and consultation.” He confessed. This was after learning that he would be floored by James Orengo.

“I sat with some old people who told me, that Orengo Jimmy might be coming back after these 5 years as a Governor. Who wants to compete with a person who does not even make a poster, does not even make a t-shirt, and does not have a billboard (and still wins?). I don’t have the guts to go against James Orengo and I have decided to bring the race back to 047” He said on Hot 96.

But he has no intentions of going against Mike Sonko because he is his friend and Sonko has die-hard fans in Nairobi and so competing against Sonko would be ‘suicidal’.

“….not head to head with Sonko because Sonko is my guy plus that’s suicidal, ask Kidero he can tell you.” He said.

This time he intends on taking Lang’ata from Jubilee’s Nixon Kiprotich Korir who nabbed the seat that had been dominated by Raila-affiliated parties for close to 3 decades.

“I want to come and take Lang’ata .ODM has never lost in Lang’ata in over 3 decades; I want to go back and bring the pride of baba in Lang’ata.” He said.
