Darasa went missing late 2017, with no one with information about his whereabouts including close friends.
On Friday, the Muziki hit maker announced his comeback after dropping a new song titled “Tofauti”.

Darasa makes comeback
Darasa disappeared from the music industry at a time when his career was doing so well, leaving his fans with many questions of what was happening in his life. Despite the comeback , Darasa has not talked about where he was.
A series of Interviews conducted in Tanzania involving his close friends with the aim of establishing his whereabouts did nor bare any fruits.
In 2016, Darasa’s song Muziki featuring Ben Pol was among the best performing projects. Currently it has more than 13 million views.

DARASA witchdoctor
In 2017, during his visit to Kenya, Darasa disclosed that at some point in his wife he visited a witchdoctor.
"I’ve gone to a witch doctor before but that was a long time ago. A lot of things happen in the Swahili lifestyle that I cannot pretend to be ignorant about. But my visit was not about my music, it was about my personal life. Growing up, while discovering yourself, you are told so many things and so much confuses you, but tell you what, God is an amazing God,” he said.
