Taking to social media, Bien griped about companies not respecting someone’s craft by offering them something cheap and not even money for a tweet when he believes that a celebrity endorsement should be worth more than a bar of chocolate:

Vocal member Bien Baraza rants over a 150 Kshs bar of chocolate given to him on Valentine’s Day
Known as the most vocal member of Sauti Sol, Bien was in usual form after someone decided to give him an inexpensive bar of Chocolate for Valentines.

“KENYANS! What the flying f**k! How dare you equate an artiste’s tweet to Kshs 150 worth of chocolate bar? Since when did artistes endorse brands for a bar of chocolate? Whose brilliant idea was that?! I actually felt insulted more than I was grateful for the damn chocolate which if you ask me I could live without. The trouble they went through to call and deliver defeats the purpose of the whole exercise.” He blustered after receiving the package through a rider on Valentine's day morning.
He went on to add that art should be paid for since artistes put a lot of time and energy in building brands and it is kind of disrespectful for someone to just hand you a bar of chocolate and expect you to endorse them when they haven’t put any money on the table.
