Most celebrities like to have their proposals made public by sharing the details with their fans on social media, as soon as they go down on their knees.

Some choose to do it in public gatherings but this was not the case to Bazokizo singer Bruz Newton who proposed to his longtime girlfriend.

In a message he shared on Instagram, the singer famed for the song Zingwembe ya Yesu disclosed that he proposed to his fiancée and ‘she said Yes’.

His fiancée said that their relationship has been one journey she cannot not wait to finish with Bruz Newton, adding that loving the singer was the best thing that has ever happened to her.

“From her :- I SAID YES. I've learnt that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. You my love are the best thing that ever happened to me. Thank you for your love and support. This has been a long journey for us and I can't wait to conquer more with you. I HEART YOU.” She said.

Bruz Newton on his part said that expressing love to someone is not only based on how expensive one was but by how genuine someone is.

He also did not disclose their wedding date.

“LOVE DOESN’T COST A THING. Expressing love is not based on how expensive you go, but how genuine you are with your actions. A simple deed can hit the deepest part of the heart. Like the other day i realized a rose flower is only 20 ksh. Its not that men are not romantic, i realized we over think and overestimate everything, but if you do your research well. You will realize love doesnt cost a thing, but only your honest actions.” said Bruz.
