Singer Phyllis Mwihaki Ng’etich popularly known as Phy has disclosed that she was afraid of losing hair, because of breastfeeding.
Singer Phy speaks on being afraid of losing hair because of breastfeeding
She recently talked about her pregnancy journey
In a post on Instagram, the new mum who was flaunting her grown hair said that she was afraid breastfeeding would come with hair loss (Postpartum hair loss), but she is all good.
“I was so afraid breastfeeding would come with hair loss but Jesus!” wrote the singer.
Postpartum hair loss is condition that not all women experience after birth, and the few that have the hair loss only experience it between three to six months after birth.
Phy’s revelation comes a few days after she talked about her pregnancy journey, revealing that she realized she was expectant one week to her fourth year, final examination at the University of Nairobi.
The Taabu singer had traveled for work and she felt sick the entire trip, which she only assumed was jet lag.
When she realized she was pregnant, a lot changed and she had the most stressful week at the University.
“I caught a flight to go work completely oblivious to why I felt sick the entire way and back… Kurudi nikidhani ni jet lag I find out 1 week before my fourth year finals with an unfinished project. Exam week was so stressful I don’t think Nai Uni has ever seen that much vomit. Amen to graduating,” she wrote.
