Stormzy aka Michael Omari has been nominated in this year’s BET Awards under the category of Best International Act-Europe.

Stormzy who originates from Thornton Health, London is an English grime and hip hop artist. He won Best Grime Act at the 2014 and 2015 MOBO Awards and was named as an artist to look out for in the BBC's influential Sound of 2015 list.

Michael Omari who holds a close resemblance to King Kaka has been turning heads in London due to the songs he has been dropping.

In April 2016 Stormzy dropped the non-album song "Scary" before he went into hiatus.

After a year's hiatus from social media, Stormzy returned in early February 2017 via a series of billboard campaigns across London displaying the hashtag #GSAP

The album title was announced to be Gang signs and prayers released February 2017 coming number 1 on the UK Albums chart on March 3.

Currently Stormzy is on tour that kicked off in March 2017 in Dublin in the Olympia Theatre.
