The Benga musician has become the latest victim of a death hoax.

She took to social media to assure her fans that she was still alive and well with this post.

“Very sad indeed! Apparently am dead somewhere! Thank you for killing me. People can be sooo mean.” She lamented.

Another high profile musician who was killed by the internet is beloved comedian Daniel ‘Churchill’ Ndambuki also known as Classic 105's Mwalimu King'ang'i who was said to have passed away after a road accident.

He learnt of his death while having a meal and dismissed the rumour with a post that read “Aki seriously? Serikali itafutie watu Kazi... ama? I'm perfectly alright and looking forward to Kesho's LIVE recording @tworivers_ke. See you then. It's only God who decides our tomorrow ama Vipi?”
