“Why go and steal and get caught in the process yet I can sell my kidney. It is not illegal.” Swaleh told Word Is.

He also said that his financial issues could not be solved by a bank loan top-up “Yes, I'm broke and that is a fact of life. I have pressing financial issues that need to be resolved and the bank cannot top up and help me.”

Well, his financial woes have deepened as one of the banks he owes money has come for its pound of flesh, his precious Mercedes Benz.

Business Today reports that Swaleh confessed to former KTN employees during a reunion dinner dubbed KTN62 that his car had been seized by the bank and was up for auction. He further disclosed that he had to get a lift from friends following the confiscation.

However, Swaleh is not the only one in a financial pickle as we recently came to learn that Kenya is grappling with a financial crisis. A situation that left Swaleh encouraged and he tweeted out“Kenya is 84billion broke"- CS Rotich. So if the GoK can be broke why are people surprised when I declared that I am in a financial crisis? Just thinking aloud.”
