The confusing state of Diamond and Zari Hassan’s relationship after break up

One would say this was a bad day for one to get dumped. Zari took to Instagram to announce that she had decided to end her relationship with the Tanzanian singer, following multiple cheating allegations with clear proof.

She, however, said that they would continue to co-parent.

“There have been multiple rumours some with evidence floating around in ALL SORTS of media in regards to Diamond’s constant cheating and sadly I have decided to end my relationship with Diamond, as my RESPECT, INTEGRITY, DIGNITY & WELL BEING cannot be compromised. We are separating as partners but not as parents,” wrote Zari.

Visiting kids

After the break up, Diamond made several low key visits to South Africa where Zari lives and runs her businesses to see their kids.

“Ni kweli ninaenda. Siyo mara moja au mara mbili nimeenda. Nakwenda kule si kwa maana ya kumuomba msamaha, hapana. Nakwenda kule kwa ajili ya kuwaona wanangu. Haiwezekani eti niwe natuma fedha za matumizi halafu nimeenda Sauz nisiende kuwaona wanangu, hilo litakuwa jambo la ajabu sana,” said Diamond.

He also sent his manager Babu Tale to South Africa for reconciliation talks with Zari, which at the beginning looked successful. After the reconciliation talks, Diamond made a visit to South Africa accompanied with gifts meant for his baby mama.

An excited Zari announced Diamond’s presence via her Snap Chat videos as she showed off a collection of gifts which included designer perfumes she had received from the father of her two Kids.

“This Coco is everything. New babies to my collections. Thank You Baba Nee," wrote Zari Hassan.

She also clarified in a statement that they were not back together but they had agreed to raise their kids together as per the breakup post.

Absentee father

Two months down the line, Zari and Diamond were back at it again and this time around, mama Tee publicly threw shade at her baby daddy accusing him of absenteeism.

In a statement, the mother of five said that there were things money could not buy in life, and it was sad that Diamond’s children were creating beautiful memories without him.

"Too bad your kids will have these beautiful memories with someone else. The simple gifts that money cannot buy," Zari wrote on Snapchat.

She stated that Diamond spoiled his children with gifts every now and then, but he denied them the much needed fatherly presence.

From this point, things completely changed and Zari went ahead to block Diamond’s calls and also on social media. The only person she was in touch with was the singer’s mother who often spoke to her grandchildren Tiffah and Nillan. Mama Dangote was also blocked from accessing her grandchildren.

Blocked

In a recent interview on Wasafi FM which was also the day it was officially launched, Diamond Platnumz in an exclusive interview said that all avenues he could use to reach his children had been blocked after Zari claimed that she was the only provider to their children.

He went on to say that her baby mama now has a man in her life and it would not be wise of him to call and ask to speak to his kids.

She blocked all the avenues I could use to communicate with the kids. And again, now that she has a man in her life I cannot be calling her every now and again asking her to pass the phone to my children. What would her new lover think? That maybe I am trying to win her back, which is not the case. That explains why I stopped visiting or communicating regularly with the children. I have however, asked Zari to write down all the financial needs of the children, and I will be sending money directly to the accounts of those respective firms offering the services she would have listed,” Diamond said.

Zari Hassan then responded saying, “I have not stopped him from speaking to his children. I gave you (Diamond) the nanny’s number and the boys’ number at the house so if you ever wanted to call the kids at any time you would. You have never called the nannies. It got to a point where you literally blocked them. I never stopped you from calling your kids. You have all the numbers.”

Moved on

Despite their little fights every now and then, these two former love birds claim to have moved on and seeing other people. Diamond Platnumz is currently dating Kenyan radio presenter Tanasha Donna whom reports say is already pregnant for the WCB boss.

Zari Hassan on the other hand, claims to be engaged to a man whose face no one knows, except her. The mother of five refers to her new man as Mr M or King Bae. A few days ago, during her visit to Kenya, Zari announced that they had agreed to have their wedding on Nelson Mandela Day, which is on July 18.
