The famous “Mathwiti na Makeki” Boy lands new Ambassadorial deal (Video)

The famous boy behind the slang “Mathwiti na Makeki” from Ndumberi, Kiambu County who was captured on camera lamenting and fantasizing about eating cake and sweets has landed a new ambassadorial deal.

Over the weekend, James Mbugua who, graced the Chipukeezy show “The Funny Truth 4” was named the new brand ambassador of Valentines Cake House.

Chipukeezy and Eric Omondi, who had invited Mbugua to grace the comedy show also organized a fundraising to help the young boy financially.

Pledges

During the fund drive, Nyali MP Mohammed Ali and former Director of Communications Nairobi County Walter Mong'are pledged to support Mbugua with Sh100K each.

Secretary of Digital Communication at State House Dennis Itumbi, contributed Sh10, 000, towards his (Mbugua) school fees.

JamboPay CEO, Danson Muchemi, promised to pay Mbugua’s school fees for his primary school education, as event sponsors DSTV pledged Sh100, 000.

Appointment to meet DP William Ruto

They Young boy also received an appointment to meet Deputy President William Ruto, at his Karen Office.

Mbugua became an internet sensation after he was recorded on camera by his uncle 5 years ago, narrating and fantasizing about Cake and sweets.

Following the wide circulation of the video, Kameme FM Presenter cum comedian Muthee Kiengei wa Watoria was among the first people who visited the boy at his grandmothers place with goodies from well-wishers.
