Tony Nyadundo accused of beating medic at Migori hospital

To everyone's humor he jumped over the perimeter wall and fled when the police were called.

According to one of the Clinical officers, Maureen Maramba, a drunk man arrived at the hospital in a cab but refused to come out. When asked who he was, he started abusing the hospital staff stating that they were aware that a celebrity had arrived.

Attempts to calm him down did not bear fruits as he demanded that his girlfriend who is not even a medic in the hospital should be the one to treat him.

“We refused the appeal for a medic not stationed at the hospital but this annoyed the man who started attacking us," revealed Muramba to the Star.

Muramba said that a colleague was locked up in a room, seriously assaulted and left with a broken nose. Nyadundo is said to have gone round breaking windows and other hospital property before the police came.

“When I was in the room, he kept on smashing windows and insisting we were disrespecting a celebrity. He kept shouting that a celebrity of his caliber should be respected."

The great escape

To everyone’s humour, Nyadundo allegedly jumped over a perimeter wall and fled when Maramba and the hospital staff tried to call the police.

“We asked the taxi driver who he was...he said his client was that musician,” she said.

However, Nyadundo denied the whole incident stating that he was not in Migori Town on that day.
