Inooro FM loses top presenters to rival station

A source who spoke exclusively to Pulse Live said that the two presenters (Mansaimo and Kata) who co-host the 'Cua Cua' show have already handed in their resignations and they are headed to the rival radio station.

The duo is said to be headed to the Mediamax’s Kameme FM which has been working hard to strengthen its team.

Mainsaimo and Kata whose real names are Simon Mburu and James Wang’ombe are some of the most celebrated Kikuyu radio presenters. The two have managed to have a good command of their fans because of their unmatched sense of humour.

It is believed that the two presenters were poached by the Mediamax, after veteran Kameme FM presenter Peninah Muthoni Mburu popularly known as PM2’s retirement.

This comes a few months after Inooro FM lost four presenters (Ephraim Antony Mugo, Jeff Munga Waithera, Kihara wa Gathua, and Muhia wa Maina) to Iganjo FM - a radio station associated with Kirinyaga Women Representative Purity Ngirici.

The Mediamax has been poaching top-rated TV and radio presenters from the Royal Media Services and other media companies to strengthen its position in the market. Some of these presenters include; Jalang’o, Joy Gituro, Wilbroda, Kaka Zema and Francis Luchivya among others.
