Luckily, he got a chance to redeem himself in the Tusker Project Fame’s Tusker All Stars competition in 2011 where he was picked alongside Hemedi Suleiman from TPF2. He was named as one of the winners after a fierce competition.

Away from TPF, Msechu began his music career and worked with A-Lists artists like Diamond Platnumz, Chege, Queen Darling and Kidum.

This is because feels that M.Ps are not doing their job in their constituencies, there is no development and yet they spend their time insulting each other in parliament.

"Those that are working are few and in 2020, I want to join the race, some MPS just want to be famous but they are not working hard to help their constituents. The youth should join the system so that they can make a change. I have never dreamt of being a politician and I have avoided politics but after seeing how things are going, I decided to join the system to bring change.” He said during an interview with Millard Ayo.
