Zari reacts to Diamond-Tanasha breakup, Betty Kyallo’s sister strips for the Gram and other top stories this week
Tanasha Donna – Diamond Platnumz drama
Singer Tanasha Donna and her Tanzanian baby daddy have treated entertainment fans to a lot this week. It all started when the new mum went on a rant about dating narcissists, which most of her fans interpreted to be Diamond who had at the time travelled to the US for a show.
It later emerged that Ms Donna had unfollowed Diamond’s family members, as well as WCB signed artistes among other people she was close to while in Tanzania. A day later, she also unfollowed her baby daddy. So, what could have gone wrong? We are yet to find out.
Tanasha once again made a drastic move where she unfollowed Diamond’s family with her son Naseeb Junior’s Instagram account, and went ahead to change his bio which initially read, ‘Diamond Platnumz an Tanasha Donna’s son’ to just ‘Tanasha Donna’s son’ a move that has been widely seen as cutting ties with anything linking her to the Chibu Dangote family.
None of the two has come out to explain what happened that caused their separation and gossip sites and fans have been left only speculating on what happened.
However, Ms Donna who returned to Kenya has been busy in studio making more music and she promised to tell the truth and her side of the story through her work.
So, sit tight and keep reading #UhondoMtaani for more on this story as it develops!
Betty sister strips for the Gram
K24 Weekend news anchor Betty Mutei Kyallo’s sister Mercy Kyallo surprised her Instagram family, after she decided to share nude pictures of herself.
The Yallo Leather boss captioned the pictures with words stating that it was time for learning and unlearning.
“Skin to skin. They call it the age of Aquarius. A time of learning & unlearning. Confidence in my roots,” wrote Mercy Kyallo.
The post attracted mixed reactions from several of her followers, as some asked for more of the pictures, while others commended her beauty. Others called her out for the move to strip for the camera.
It still remains unclear why she chose to go the nude way, which is widely known to be something socialites do for clout and to have people on social media talk about them.
Zari reacts to Diamond – Tanasha breakup
Diamond Platnumz’s South Africa based Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan reacted to her baby daddy’s alleged breakup with Tanasha Donna, with sarcasm.
This was after one of her fan pages running under the name “Zaridieharddaily” shared a post, perplexed by what was going on in Chibu Dangote’s love life with his Kenyan girlfriend.
“Trouble in paradise already, Darling? Surely you must know that a leopard doesn’t change its spots,” read the post.
The post seemed to wonder why Tanasha never learned from those who had dated Platnumz before her, and why she settled for someone who never changes his behavior.
This prompted Ms Hassan to join the conversation reminding the masses that; “No matter how many times a snake shades skin, it stays snake.”
Ms Hassan’s comment was directly linked to the dilemma surrounding Diamond’s love life, based on the fact that the two parted ways after he failed to refrain from his cheating Behavior.

Tanzanian singer and WCB boss Diamond Platnumz’s sister Esma Platnumz has disclosed that Tanasha Donna Oketch converted to Islam a long time ago, and even chose a Muslim name for herself.
Esma’s words came after a fan accused her and the Dangote family of forcing Diamond’s baby mama Tanasha to convert to Islam. The fan went ahead to ask if being Muslim was by force.
“Mlitaka Tanasha abadili dini kwani uislam ni by force,” Castgy Aknan.
In her response, Esma said the fan had joined the party too late, adding that Mama Naseeb Juniour converted on her own and nobody forced her.
She mentioned that Tanasha chose the name ‘Aisha’

Aslay clears air on assaulting baby mama
Tanzania Singer Aslay Isihaka aka Aslay has distanced himself from accusations of assaulting his Baby Mama identified as Sonia.
In a lengthy Instagram Post, the Moyo Kiburi maker, explained that the allegations were fabricated by people well known to him, with the aim of tarnishing his reputation and career.
Nashukuru Mungu sikufanya kitu chochote kibaya. Nilimpigia Sonia kuuliza nini kimetokea, mwenyewe anashangaa japo anakiri wapo watu wanaomshawishi kuongea uongo mwingi kuchafua jina langu. Sitaongea mengi, najua ukweli utajulikana tu. Kinachosikitisha sana kwangu na kwetu kama jamii, ni jinsi vyombo vya habari vinavyoweza kutumika kusambaza uongo, chuki na kuharibu majina ya watu na biashara zao. Walioko nyuma ya michezo hii michafu tunawafahamu, na wao wananifahamu, wakati utawambua, NA MUNGU PEKEE NDIYE SHAHIDI WA KWELI. Asanteni.”
