“Ladies, would you pay over If you ask me, I would rather invest in my business. Sometimes as much as people want a relationship with you, you can’t be the one paying the bills because they are broke.” Vera opined.
She also added that money trumps looks because looks cannot really cater for the bills. “He could be the hottest thing on earth but if he is broke it’s gonna be hard to keep up. You will pay the bill first time, second time, then get tired. So it’s better to just be friends and avoid the wahala cause relationship won’t work.”

Vera believes that dating a broke guy is not a capital sin but the consequences that come with such a situation can be very detrimental.
“It’s not bad dating a broke guy, but imagine making sacrifices, paying bills, give him ideas and even help him set up a business. Then boom he is rich/wealthy. Then boom he starts acting funny and becomes a regular cheat. Then boom ya'll break up. I think it’s fair if people meet halfway. He is self-made she is self-made. They date. That’s perfect. When one partner is starting from the bottom while the other is at the top there’s bound to be problems. Be a boss. Date a boss. Build an empire.” She advised.
