Veteran Sports Commentator Mohammed Juma Njuguna dies

Royal Media Services Veteran Sports Commentator Mohammed Juma Njuguna is dead.

Reports reaching Pulselive.co.ke indicate that Njuguna passed on, on Saturday morning at the Nairobi hospital, after a long illness.

At the time of his death, Mohammed Juma Njuguna worked as a producer at Radio Citizen, a role he assumed in 2016.

Mohammed Juma Njuguna joined the RMS in 1999 from the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) where he worked as a sports journalist.

He will be remembered as the pioneer of the English Premier League (EPL) commentary in Kenya.

Njuguna referred to himself as the Head of State Commendation (HSC) after he was awarded by retired President Mwai Kibaki in 2010, for his illustrious career in media.
