Rapper Wangechi reveals the main reason she does not wear bikinis

Kenyan female rapper Wangechi has revealed the main reason as to why she does not wear Bikinis.

In a post on her Instagram account, Wangechi said that Bikinis make her extremely nervous.

“Bikinis give me mad anxiety,” read part of her post.

Wangechi who was involved in a grisly road accident that killed a friend of hers left her hospitalized for months along with another friend in 2014, made the revelation when she posted a picture of her body showing the scars she got after the accident.

She also said that scars were easy to talk about than to show them and urged people not to be afraid to share their stories because the scars are part of them.

“ I'm not sure if it's because I felt too much shame to let anyone see a process as intimate as overcoming hurt. Or if it's because even when we master the courage to share our still incomplete healing, people reflexively look away. Don't be afraid to share your story it's a part of who you are today.” She said.
