Watch as singer Jovial is serenaded by TikTok celebrity Moya David

With over 895,000 followers on his frequent uploads, Moya David has become a TikTok celebrity. Moya on Saturday, March 5 managed to meet Jovial, the singer behind Mi Amor, a song he has become synonymous with.

During the Melanated Summer Festival hosted at the Ngong Race Course, sassy singer Jovial was busy entertaining her fans when Moya stealthily approached her on stage.

For a few seconds, Jovial was not in the know but as the chants and cheers from the crowd became louder and close to deafening, the songstress turned to her right only to see the TikToker busting a move in classic fashion.

A visibly perturbed but excited Jovial couldn't prevent a gleaming smile from ear to ear which elicited a wild roar from the crowd. The 60 second performance was cupped with a sexy salsa dance that finished off with a twirl, clearly Jovial was smitten.

Who is Moya David?

Moya began dancing professionally in 2018, opening his TikTok account the following year. When he kicked off his dancing career, he started out solo, but later on saw the need to come up with a group, launching his own dance academy.

Moya went viral when a clip of him dancing for a female tout before offering her a bar of chocolate, making her blush and smile circulated across social media.

He has since created more content that has made him a household name in Kenya from dancing alongside fruit and vegetable vendors in the local markets to brightening up a police officer's day.

Through his videos Moya revealed that he is on a mission to make everyone happy. "Most people go through so much in their lives and are fighting different battles, and I want to at least brighten up their day," he said.
