Tanzanian actor, comedian and 2014 Big Brother Africa winner Idris Sultan has revealed the struggle he went through with his girlfriend, after his ex-girlfriend Wema Sepetu was sentenced and fined Tsh2 Million.

Sultan disclosed that his girlfriend got angry and stopped talking to him after he announced that he would have paid the Tsh2 million fine handed to Wema by the court following her drug abuse case.

“Wa sultan hawakai mbali na sultan. Kama vipi nitalipa,” captioned Idris in a picture of Wema he shared on his Instagram page," after the court sentence.

His words however, did not go well with his current girlfriend and she decided to go quiet on him.

Guilty

The former Miss Tanzania (Wema Sepetu) was on Friday last week found guilty of drug abuse with the judge giving her a one year sentence if she failed to pay a fine of Tsh. 2,000,000 which translates to Ksh87,676.

In February this year, Police launched an onslaught on top celebrities who were allegedly involved in drug trafficking, asking them to report to the Central police for questioning.

The celebrities included Diamond Platnumz, TID, Ray C, Idris Sultan, Abbas Mutevu, Rugemarila Mutahaba, Vanessa Mdee, Tunda, Halidali Kavila. Amani Kashozi and Omry Sanga.
