The Bongo actress said Alu was not able to have a party for her 19th birthday and that this one could also not go and her family comes first, over everything else.
"It is because it was a day I had a birthday party for my sister Alu who had turned 20. Last year I did not do anything for her and I promised that this year I was going to do a party for her. Family first, my family comes first over everything," she said.

Wema added that Alikiba knows that she supports him in all ways and there is no bad blood between me and him.
"He knows that I support him and I have no problem with him at all and I wish him all the best in his marriage life," she said.
Alikiba walked down the aisle on 19 April in Mombasa and had a wedding reception on 29 April in Dar es Salaam together with his brother Abdu Kiba.
