Sauti Sol's and Bob Collymore landed in Kibera for a visit to Shining Hope for Communities (SHOFCO) projects in Kibera.

A visit that was inspired by Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore who has in the past supported SHOFCO projects one of them being the aerial water piping system which is one of SHOFCO’s key projects that was supported by Safaricom Foundation to the tune of KES. 12 Million.

The Sauti Sol band members then performed for the pupils of Kibera School for Girls (KSG) during the band’s visit to Shining Hope for Communities (SHOFCO) projects in Kibera courtesy of Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore.

SHOFCO champions gender equality and combats urban poverty by linking free education for girls to holistic community services, KSG is Kibera’s first free primary school for girls.

 After the performance, the band interacted with some of the students including Martha Achieng, a pupil at SHOFCO’s, Kibera School for Girls.

Bien Aime Baraza and Safaricom Director, Consumer Business Unit, Sylvia Mulinge later interacted with students of Elite School- Mashimoni inside Shining Hope for Communities (SHOFCO) community library project in Kibera.
