The last few weeks have witnessed a mass exit from Bahati-owned record label EMB Records.

Following the exit of Mr Seed, who hastily left the record label about two weeks ago, David Wonder followed suit and joined the list of artistes who have shown their backs to Bahati.

Weezdom, the first EMB signee also left the label after he was allegedly forced out by Diana Marua.

The exit of the 3 musicians left two artistes at the label Rebecca Soki Kalwenze and Princess Leo.

But as we have now come to learn, Soki has also since left the record label in a disgruntled state due to some misunderstandings at EMB.

“Rebecca Soki left EMB as there was a misunderstanding between her and the label. She is now working on her own projects and hasn’t been to EMB records for the last four months. Rebecca felt played when she learnt that her song ‘Baraka Zangu’ was sampled from abroad and that really turned her off because she is very God-fearing and felt that using someone else’s beat is stealing. It was a huge turn off for her and in addition, there was a battle in the label as someone else claimed that the song was originally theirs,” Soki’s manager Papa Obong said in an interview with YMashariki presenter Ken Relbis.

Obong has now disclosed that we have not seen the end of Rebeca even after leaving the record label.

“They should expect glorious songs,” he promised fans.
