In an Interview with Pulselive.co.ke Willypozze said the Mombasa Governor was like a father to him.
He added that the two were very close friends adding that he is also a very nice guy.
“He’s like a brother to me, he’s like a father to me. We are so tight and he’s such a good guy,” said Willy Paul.

Willy Paul and Joho have in many instances been seen hanging out together, the most recent one being when Willy spent a number of days at the Governor’s home in Mombasa.
During his stay, the ‘Harambee’ singer also met Tanzanian singer Ommy Dimpoz who has been recuperating in Mombasa after he underwent a second surgery in Germany.

In the exclusive interview, Willy Paul also revealed details of his son, saying that children are a blessing and he was happy about it.
He also disclosed that the mother of his son is a mzungu.
“Wee jua I have a son and I am happy. Watoto ni blessing .Wewe jua niko na mtoto mzungu mahali,” said Willy Paul.
