Why I gave out my Groove Award - Willy Paul

Willy Paul bagged the award for ‘Video of the Year’ at the

Though he had desired this award for a long time, he gave it to Weezdom Music a close friend and confidant.

And the reason for giving up his award is that he felt that Weezdom had put in so much work and deserved the award as much as he did. He also gave him the award as a way of encouraging him.

“My song ‘Jigi Jigi’ just won the video of the year award 2018 at the Groove Awards. Thank you all for making me a winner. My brother Weezdom music has really been working hard…day n night... so I just want to encourage him. That’s why I just gave him the award...we’ve come a long way.” He stated.

Willy them thanked Sammy Dee for directing and making the video. He also had a special shout out for Jamaican singer Alaine. “I’d also like to thank @alainesinga for encouraging me to go ahead and release the song Jigi Jigi as a solo project. Blessings to all. Thank you all..... I love you. New music coming up.”
