Museveni's daughter gets married

Over the weekend, Museveni’s daughter got married to the love of her life in a wedding presided over by the Most Rev. Stanley Ntagali at St. Paul’s Cathedral Namirembe.

President Museveni and First Lady Janet looked on with pride as their daughter Georgina Nyangoma exchanged her vows with Assistant Superintendent of Police Phillip Kiboyo Atwine.

Speaking during the wedding, President Yoweri Museveni urged parents to groom their children in spiritual life before they reach marriage age.

“Children need to be groomed spiritually. I, personally, being duty bound, thank Mama Janet Museveni for bringing up our children in a spiritual way of life,” he said

Philip is the son to the late Major Emmanuel Kagumire Rujwengibwa and Joy Magara of Ruharo in Mbarara district, Western Uganda.
