Announcing the upcoming charity project on her Twitter handle, Yvonne said that she will pay visits to some educational institutions to settle bills of such students.

“Glad to announce that this year my charity org Elizabethan Scholarship Scheme will be paying some fees of students in various schools,” she said.

Yvonne has since won the admiration of many, with several others congratulating her for benevolence.

The actress did not, however, state when the sponsorship programme will begin.

But as part of her annual charity campaign, Yvonne in April 2016 commissioned a borehole project to provide water for the people of Wungu in the Walewale community of the Northern Region.

The community had before them had challenges with water.

The actress has also engaged in other charity works, including building a playground for underprivileged children at the Dzorwulu Special School in Accra.
