Zari Hassan’s brother in-law dies mysteriously

Zari Hassan’s brother- in- law George Semwanga Pinto has been reported dead.

The news was confirmed by Uganda Mirror revealing that his body was found in a hotel room that he used to stay in.

The website could not however, confirm the cause of his death but added that his other brother Lutaaya Edwin is also in the hospital under unclear circumstances. Pinto owned the Kikoni based Sir Pinto hostel, Sir Pinto Distributors Ltd and other businesses both in Uganda and South Africa.

Zari Hassan was married to the late Ivan Ssemwanga Ivan married Zari Hassan. The couple was blessed with three boys together. In 2013, the couple called it quits after Zari accused Ivan of domestic violence.

Zari married a Tanzanian musician called Diamond Platnumz in 2014 and divorced him in 2018. Ivan later passed on in 2017 after suffering a heart attack.
