Khalwale attacked after celebrating death on twitter

Khalwale landed in hot soup after posting a burning dead body on Twitter.

In his Tweet, Dr Khalwale claimed that the victim was a serial motorbike thief in his Malinya home ground, and celebrated the brutal murder from the mob, a move that irked a section of social media users.

“This thug came to Malinya & robbed a bodaboda rider of his motor bike. Unfortunately he forgot that this's the land of bullfighters!” Boni wrote on his twitter account, accompanied by the photo of a lynched robber.

One of his followers, Ishmael Macharia, took on Dr Khalwale on his irresponsible leadership and condemned him for showing a bad example to the society.

“Mheshimiwa, I have a lot of respect for you. But on this one, I think as a leader you are wrong on your attitude. Remember you are a leader of both "saints" and "sinners". You need to propagate and model rule of law. No one has right to take another's life!” Mr Macharia replied to the gross tweet.

Another user John Ogola replied: “That's a terrible image from your handle. It sends a wrong message sir. We all shun police brutality & should similarly shun mob justice.”

Other followers of the outspoken Ford Kenya leader demanded that he pulled on the graphic images and delete the post immediately.

“Please pull down the picture. It’s in bad taste for a leader to be seen to be advocating extra judiciary executions,” one follower tweeted.

Boni refused to pull down the tweet, and he added:
