According to TUKO.co.ke, Helen from Kaptama village gave birth to the beautiful baby girl she named Blessing Cherotich through caesarian section at Kapsokwony Sub county hospital on Thursday, April 12
Kesis is a mother of three, the eldest being 10 years old.
The nursing officer in charge of theatre Stanley Limo said Kesis was admitted to the facility on Wednesday, April 11 at about 5.30pm while in labour.
"After a series of checkups, she was taken to the caesarian section of the theatre after the medical examination had revealed that she could not give birth through the normal route," said Limo
He added that the mother and baby were recuperating well and were in stable condition at the health facility.
He said that the mother has a history of giving birth to big babies all through.
"The three other children were delivered through the normal way even though they were overweight. The first born weighed 3.5Kgs, the second born was weighing 5.1Kgs, the third was weighing 2.7Kgs but the fourth one shocked us because she was weighing 6Kgs," said the nurse.
"Assisted by my other professional nurses we only took 45 minutes to conclude the delivery," added Limo.
