5 most annoying habits of house helps

House helps can be very mischievous but sometimes their mischief can be more annoying than entertaining.

From some being lazy and only choosing to work when they deem fit to them always having the juiciest gossip on every neighbor – just know she’s telling your business to others too.

While house helps might be entertaining and funny some tend to take it too far with their employers and cross a boundary that they shouldn’t have in the first place.

Here are some annoying habits that house helps need to quit.

1.Disrespect the woman of the house

Respect is very important for harmonious living and some house helps tend to take the freedom given to them a bit far.

They may decide not to perform a task that employers require them to and give a flimsy excuse for it.

2.Always poking their nose in everything that happens in the home

House helps always have the tea on every neighbor in the estate. They know whose wife or husband is cheating on them and how late the neighbor’s daughter’s boyfriend snuck out of the house the previous night.

While it may be great to hear the latest estate gossip, it may not be so great when the tables are turned and they start poking their noses in the employer’s business.

3.Handing out unwelcome advice

“Skirt yako leo ni fupi” or “Unajua unafaa kukuja kwa nyumba kabla mume wako afike usiku”.

If someone did not ask for the advice then let them be – to each their own.

4.Taking the children of the home with them to see their boyfriend

5.Never wanting to be corrected

Some house helps don’t know how to take corrective criticism well. They are told to improve on their cleaning and they end up doing their chores worse than the first time.

You tell them to try something different out with the food, they tell you it was because they didn’t have Royco.
